What are DSSM's foundational beliefs?

The vision of Dayspring School of Supernatural Ministry (DSSM) is to see our students challenged through teaching, ministry, prophecy and experiencing the supernatural power of God. Growth and maturity will come through teaching, impartation, prophetic declarations, ministry experiences and adoption of the supernatural lifestyle and our DSSM Core Values. Spiritual dreams will be realized, and destinies will be fulfilled. We want to help students love in the same way that Jesus loved and minister in the same way that Jesus ministered.

The mission of Dayspring School of Supernatural Ministry (DSSM) is to equip, activate and train our students into a naturally supernatural lifestyle of revival. Through a pursuit of intimacy with the Father, each student will know their identity as a son or daughter and will be prepared to step into their destiny.

• Intimacy with God:  Our highest priority at DSSM is to nurture an intimate relationship with Father.  We provide the atmosphere and encourage opportunities for our students to encounter Him in a life changing way. In this process of encountering our Father, Sonship is established and becomes the foundation for our lives and for the release of the supernatural.
• Honor:  Honor recognizes and affirms how valuable and powerful people are because we are made in His image. Our words and actions should always communicate life, encouragement, hope and faith.  Honor releases the Holy Spirit into every situation.  As a school we show honor to our students by focusing on their identities as sons and daughters rather than their weaknesses and failures. Honor recognizes that we are incomplete by design and have need for the gifts, talents, and perspectives of others.
• Signs and Wonders:  As we become confident in our identities as sons and daughters, the Holy Spirit releases signs, and wonders to those we encounter.  All believers carry the presence and supernatural power of God, not just a select few leaders. We provide the atmosphere and encourage our students where they can release the giftings within them.  
• Revival starts with Family and Community:  We understand family and community as the context for growing in spiritual maturity.  A high emphasis is placed upon healthy personal relationships beginning with spouse, children, extended family, and church family.  As we learn to serve and release Hope and Love into our families and communities, Revival will come.

• WE BELIEVE the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and is the final authority for our faith and conduct.
• WE BELIEVE there is one true God, existing in three persons as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• WE BELIEVE in the pre-existence, incarnation, virgin birth, early ministry, crucifixion, resurrection and literal second coming of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
• WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit is as active in the world and church today as in the lives of the first apostles, and the gifts He has given to the church continue to operate.
• WE BELIEVE Salvation is a conversion experience and process only possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as He took upon Himself the penalty for our sins.
• WE BELIEVE all Christians should follow Christ’s example to be baptized after their conversion experience.
• WE BELIEVE in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, following a salvation experience which empowers a believer in their relationship with God and for their destiny in the Kingdom.
• WE BELIEVE God is able and willing to supernaturally heal our physical bodies. Through the cross God has made full provision for our healing.
• WE BELIEVE all Christians should partake of the Lord’s Supper (Communion).
• WE BELIEVE man was created in the image of God and that the purpose of man is to glorify God and enjoy intimate fellowship with Him forever. One way of building intimacy with God is to worship Him with our total being.
• WE BELIEVE laying on of hands is for confirming a call of God to ministry, imparting spiritual gifts, transference of anointing, experiencing the infilling of the Holy Spirit, ministering healing to the sick, and for dedicating children to the Lord.
• WE BELIEVE the Church has been given authority over Satan and his demons, which were defeated by Christ but continue to operate in this world.
• WE BELIEVE there is one true universal Church, made up of all genuine believers and comprised of many local churches and ministries, all under the sovereign Lordship of Christ Jesus.
• WE BELIEVE God has called, commissioned, and equipped the ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Christ has given these gifts to equip the Church for the work of the ministry.
• WE BELIEVE in the eternal state of the soul: eternal life for those who trust in Christ Jesus and eternal death and separation from God for those who reject Him.
• WE BELIEVE in the soon return of Jesus Christ, earth’s rightful King, and that His physical return is necessary for the completion and the establishment of His Kingdom on earth.
